Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was both a team member and the team captain for 2012's Fierce Five as well as the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for floor and team events, and a bronze medal on the balance beam. As a result, she was the very first American to compete at an Olympics with the top amount of medals. The 2016 Olympics brought her gold in the team competition, which earned her and Gabby the honor as the first Americans ever to win consecutive team golds. Also, silver medals were awarded in both the all-around individual as well as floor workouts. It was three years between her last appearance in competition gymnastics. Her gold medal winning American team also took home the two World Championships. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly has enrolled in the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandma. Aly hopes to achieve an enviable career in fashion. Leotards that she has designed, socks and other items will be expanded to include other items in the future. Fierce is a novel she's writing, will be coming out in the year ahead.
