Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30, 1991, is better popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) who is an American musician, rapper and songwriter. His stage name is the namesake of his favorite uncle, paired with the first name of one of his heroes, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. The singer also signed a recording contract with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. The mixtape was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his debut studio album. The smash single "Antidote" was the album's lead track. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) achieved his first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott has released his second album in conjunction with Quavo Huncho Jack Huncho (2016). This album was his third studio album Astroworld. He also released his first Billboard Hot 100 #1 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first rapper to make it to first place on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than a year.
