Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born on May 7, 1998) is an American YouTube personality and entrepreneur. The YouTube personality has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTube videos that centers on costly stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube at the age of 13 years old, and was using the handle "MrBeast6000". He started with Let's Plays, as well as "videos estimating how wealthy other YouTubers" content. Following his 2017 "Counting to 100,000" video was viewed by tens and thousands of views within a couple of days, Donaldson was a YouTube sensation. His early content included Let's Plays as well as videos that predicted the worth of other YouTubers. Donaldson employed his childhood pals to help run the brand when it began to expand. The MrBeast channel had a subscriber count of 60 as of 2022. It reached 100 million subscribers on the 28th of July 2022.
